This trip will take you to some of Uganda’s most spectular s highlights. Safari on the savannah, hippo viewing from the boat and of course, the rare mountain gorilla plus in Lake Mburo N.P, you can take a bush walk or even a horseback safari.
You will overnight in the best mid-range accommodations Uganda has to offer.
Day 1: Travel to Jinja.
Day 2: Travel to queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 3: Game drive and boat safari
Day 4: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest

The following itinerary has been developed to combine the best Uganda’s flora-fauna and landscapes as well as a range of intense day’s .All accommodations have been chosen for their excellent comfort services and value. Day 1: Travel to Jinja.
Your safari guide will meet at Busia Border Uganda- Kenya and depart for exploration at Jinja. Continue to the source of the Nile the place where the mightiest river on earth begins its majestic journey towards Egypt. Have a local boat cruise on the River Nile and Lake Victoria. You will then continue to where you will have lunch.
Accommodation: Nile River camp.
Meal plan: Dinner and Breakfast.
For an overnight option, extend your visit and enjoy a more relaxed visit and take in some other activities or visit places. These include;
-The local food and fruit market
-The Jinja taxi park
-Masese fish landing site
-Flat water canoeing
-Water rafting on the River Nile
Tubing on the Nile.
DAY 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After an earlier breakfast, with packed lunch. You will then continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game including Gazelle, Uganda Kob, Warthog and Water buck – Lions are often sighted both in and at the entrance to the park. Be prepared for huge numbers of hippo and Elephant and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine.
You will stay at Bush lodge in a nice eco cottage tent. The cottage – tent has a bed-room with eco-toilet and a private outside bathroom with double ”bush” shower with hot water (on request). Of course, your outside bathroom is fenced and gives you all privacy.
Your lodge is located on the edge of queen Elizabeth National Park – overlooking the spectacular Kazinga channel. Watch wildlife from your primately verandah and fall asleep to the rearing of lions on the distant savannah. This truly is Africa! In the late afternoon you will go for a game – drive into the park.

DAY 3: PARK GAME DRIVE AND BOAT SAFARI
Today you wake up early. A little before sunrise coffee, tea and donuts will be served in the lounge before we head out for along game drive in time to see the first rays of sun
You will search for all the wildlife in the park and are likely to come across elephant Buffalo, lion, waterbuck, leopard, Uganda Kob and many Warthog.
A well- deserved brunch will be served back at the lodge in the late morning.
After lunch you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga channel which joins Lake George and Lake Albert.
Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine) as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see a buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephants and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat safari you game drive back to the lodge.

DAY 4: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI FOREST.
Today is a big day, prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants, the rare mountain gorilla. Bwindi impenetrable forest boasts both mountain gorilla and chimpanzees, the only forest in Africa which can make this claim in fact.
The gorilla you back belong to one of nine habituated family groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. Enroute, you guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung nests and chewed bamboo shoots your track will be an exciting journey.
The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hrs to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located. Your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face to face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own gorillas in the mist:

DAY 5: LAKE BUNYONYI
A three hour ride brings you to Lake Bunyonyi (place of many little birds”) where you will be staying on a beautiful Island, surrounded by hills rising out of the lake people call it “The Switzerland of Africa”. Heritage lodge on Habuharo Island is set in idyllic isolation of the tranquil waters of Lake Bunyonyi. There is a restaurant serving continental and local dishes. The lake is famous for its cray fish, a local delicacy freshly harvested upon request. The volcanic lake is bilhazia free and safe for swimming and canoeing.

DAY 6: BUSH WALK – AIRPORT TRANSFER.
Lake Mburo National Park is one of two parks in Uganda where it is permitted to go for a bush walk with an experienced ranger. This opportunity should not be missed.
From foot prints and animal droppings the range will tell you which animal has left and how long ago? It is exciting to approach the wildlife at such close range.
After the walk, you go back to the lodge . You then drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport. Stopping at the equator for the requisite snap shot and a bit of souvenir shopping.
Instead of going for the bush walk you can relax at your lodge or make a horseback riding Safari in the park (USD 60 pp for 2 hours).
Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program of your wish to depart tonight from Entebbe Airport, make sure your flight is at 10:00pm or later. If you would like us to book one or more nights in Kampala and or Entebbe. Please let us know.

Since this is a private tour, departure can be organized for anytime throughout the year subject to the availability of accommodation and transport.
The booking with the holds mentioned in the program depends on availability. Reservations will only be made after your booking.
In case the mentioned hotels are not available during the requested period. We will do our utmost best to book a hotel in the same class for you (of course we will only buy them after your booking and down payment and also here it all depends on availability.
